Research

I am the coordinator of English 352, Technical Communication, at New Jersey Institute of Technology. For more information, use the links at the left. I have just finished my book, The Language of Work: Technical Communication at Lukens Steel, 1810-1925 which was published by Baywood Press in January 2009 (advertised at http://www.baywood.com/books/previewbook.asp?id=978-0-89503-384-0). This semester we conducted an evaluation of five different systems for students to create ePortfolios: Drupal, the NJIT Blogs (Wordpress), AFS Websites, Mahara (an ePortfolio system) and Epsilen(an ePortfolio system) .
