Creating an Online Portfolio for English 352 - Technical Writing

The purpose of this assignment is to produce an online portfolio (website) containing all of your technical writing work for this semester. This portfolio should reside on your university server space, which will have a URL of web.njit.edu/~yourUCID. It should contain links to your procedure, proposal and any other assignments you wish to include. The documents can be in Word, PDF or HTML. You can add extra graphics, etc.

By teaching you how to create this online portfolio, we are teaching you how to create and control your web "identity." Did you ever look yourself up on Google? After you create this portfolio, Google will be able to find you. When our English 352 assessment is over, you can update it in any way you choose - add your resume, examples of your work, etc.

In 2008, NJIT changed the procedures for setting up your server space and uploading your documents. Updated directions are below.
