Forms, Procedures and Templates
- Syllabus Form - including space
for assignments.
- Assignments Form - if you want to keep
your assignments separate from your syllabus.
- Simple HTML Template - instructions
and an HTML template for a simple online portfolio.
- How
to Set Up Server Space at NJIT - a guide to navigating the labyrinthine
system
- Speech Evaluation Form - a form
for each student to critique the oral presentation of another - after
the presentation, the presenter should have a good view of how others
perceived the talk.
- Peer Review Forms - there are two
three-page forms for both the Procedure Peer Review and the Proposal
Peer Review. They are anonymous so that students can really give each
other honest feedback - just tear the cover sheet off after collecting.
- Class List Form - for the first day of
class when you want to collect everyone's current and frequently used
email.
- How to Use Windows Explorer as
a Filing System - this is provided as an example of a procedure,
but I'm also including it here in case you YOURSELF don't yet do this
- it's handy to be able to organize your papers so that they can be
easily accessed.
- Lego Exercise - a really fun and educational
exercise that can be used early in the semester so that the class can
get to know each other (and also so that they can learn how hard it
is to write easy directions).
- Introduce Yourself Freewriting
- for the first day of class to get an idea of who your students are.
- Process Exercise - a short exercise
that gets the students thinking about the workplace.
