History of the NJIT STC

The NJIT STC student chapter dates back to 2002 and began as a face-to-face society and has transitioned to an online society

to meet the changing needs of the growing distance learning population. This opportunity also enables us to span physical

boundaries to the professional community for membership, networking opportunities, and invited speakers.

International Society for Technical Communicators

The Society for Technical Communication (STC) is focused on creating and supporting a forum for communities of practice in technical communication, and on maintaining an active exchange between all its members and other interested parties. (used by Peg Cottrell, an STC administrator; this appears on the international STC Web site).
