DMS Printers Policy
Effective 17 November 2005
Private, faculty and staff
- Paper jams: If you cannot fix the problem yourself, report it to the
Computing Helpdesk at 973.596.2900, or
http://help.njit.edu
- Toner replacement: Provide your own, or contact Susan Sutton at ext 3235 and request a new toner be ordered
- Printer Setup: If the printer is to be connected to a UNIX/Linux machine, contact sys@oak.njit.edu to have the printer configured. However, unpacking the printer and setting it up is the responsiblity of the owner. If the printer is to be connected to a Windows machine, contact the Computing Helpdesk.
- Reminder: you can use the lab printers in CUL 615, CUL 511 or CUL 206 if your
own printer is not functioning
Labs

- Printer Setup: Contact the Computing Helpdesk to request network connectivity and to have the printer physically setup. After the printer has been setup and network connectivity provided, contact sys@oak.njit.edu to have a queue created for the new printer on the print gateways.
