and Liberal Arts Career Day at NJIT

Students, Teachers, HS Staff and Parents are invited to this Free Event.

Career Day will feature presentations and discussions:

  • About careers for students who pursue degrees in communication and media, history, physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics,
  • On interdisciplinary connections among these disciplines.

The Professional Development program will focus on:

Digital Learning Tools in Your Classroom: Using Probes, Sensors and Computer Learning Modules to Enhance Understanding of High School Mathematics and Science”

  • Presentations will include simulations that can be used in math and science classes as well as demonstrations using sensors to calculate absolute zero, analyze man vs. machine, alternative energy and more.
  • Teachers will receive a flash drive containing simulations and lessons plans presented during the special presentations as well as Professional Development Certificates.

Lunch and free parking provided for all attendees.
