BIOINFORMATICS DEGREE PROGRAMS

 

 

Bachelor of Science (BS)*

 

The BS degree provides the student with an understanding of bioinformatics, computer science and biology fundamentals, along with the sciences, mathematics, and supporting interdisciplinary studies.

This degree is ideal for students interested in merging computer science and biology and those interested in pursuing advanced degrees in bioinformatics.

 

Master of Science  (MS)*

The anticipated MS degree will offer advanced studies in bioinformatics.  Students interested in the MS in Computational Biology should consider this program.

 

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)*

The anticipated PhD degree is for those interested in pursuing a career in bioinformatics research and academics.
