Ali Abdi, PhD

Associate Professor

I received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota and joined the ECE Department of New Jersey Institute of Technology.

 

My current research interests include digital communication and propagation modeling in wireless channels (underwater, terrestrial, satellite), channel and parameter estimation techniques, space-time processing and interference cancellation, blind modulation recognition, systems biology and molecular networks.

 

I  am a Senior Member of  IEEE  and  have  served as an  Associate Editor  for IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology from 2002 to 2007. Currently I am the co-chair of the Communication and Information Theory Track of 2008 IEEE ICCCN (International Conference on Computer Communications and Networks).

 

At NJIT, I am affiliated with Center for Wireless Communications and Signal Processing Research .
