Nov 16, 2007 Note that there is no Class on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day (Nov 21) and afterwards there are three classes left on Nov 28, Dec 5, and Dec 12.
Nov 6, 2007 HW 5 is to be uploaded shortly. Note that Subject 12 will be covered before Subject 11. Subjects 10,11,12 and 13 have already been uploaded.
Oct 25, 2007 The link problems should be fixed by now.
Oct 24, 2007 A reorganization of Subject 7 has taken place. It has been split into two subjects, Subject 7 and Subject 8. If you have downloaded the older Subject 7, the new Subject 7 is a subset of that and you don't need to download the new one. Subject 8 contains the remaining material of the older Subject 7 (Kleinberg's and PageRank algorithms) plus new material related to matrix analysis that is relevant to understanding these algorithms. Treat Subject 8 as new material for download.
Oct 24, 2007 HW 4 has been uploaded.
Oct 18, 2007 An EXTRA programming homework has become available. It is worth 250 points and due in early December (read the due date on the homework.)
Oct 16, 2007 HW 2 solutions have been uploaded.
Oct 10, 2007 HW 3 has been uploaded. A note: for P2.d you need to implement a sorting algorithm (based on a bitonic sorter); naturally this will be a slower (asymptoticall speaking) algorithm than an O(nlgn) traditional sorting algorithm.
