One of my favorite past times is playing the guitar. I, mostly, play
songs by pakistani musical groups or the ones that I like in indian
movies. Not that I don't play english songs at all, I know quite a few,
its just that I like playing the former ones better. If you are interested
in learning how to play the guitar yourself or are simply looking for some

Yup! all the tumbling and falling on the slopes of Mount Vernon did pay off and now skiing is one of my favorite recreational activities. I started skiing in the winter of '95 and for those of you who want to learn this sport, its not too hard to learn. All it will take you is a couple of days and you will at least be able to come down the beginner's slope without much hassle. Ummm, now as far as how long it takes to be an expert at it is concerned, well I'll let you know when I become one :). So far I've only managed to conquer the intermediate trails. The expert ones or "Diamond" and "Double Diamond" trails are my next target! Wish me luck! :). Check out yahoo for great links on skiing.
Instead of boring everyone with every single sport I like I think I'll just include Cricket, Hockey and Soccer here. In Pakistan I've always been a member of my school's cricket team no matter where I studied. The final few years that I spent in Pakistan before coming to the states saw me as the Vice Captain of my school's cricket team and Captain of the hockey team. Some of the other sports I indulged into included track and field. My specialty was the 100 meter sprint and the long jumps. Tried to be a part of the high jump team too but I never could make it over the bar without bringing it down with me every single time. And if you're thinking "White men can't jump", well its not only them :).

Ever dreamt of sitting behind the wheel of Lamborghini or a Ferrari, racing with the wind , moving faster than you've ever imagined on a long empty road in front of you......and no cops???? Well yeah that's my dream too :)...maybe one day, who knows, I just might be able to go out on a tour of this country in one of those exoticies! But for now, how about we just visit their web sites and see what they have in store...

Well apart from all this there are different TV channels I watch like Discovery, CNN, ESPN SportsZone, Sports Channel, etc. I also like to read magazines including Scientific American, Time, GQ, and various others related to cars or computers. One of the great minds of all times that I admire is Albert Einstein. The link I've given will take you to a comprehensive site that has a lot of info on this genius of the twentieth century. Music is another category that I can include here but I left it out for the time being 'cause I've already included a separate page on Pakistani Music as part of my homepage. I might include a section here for actors and actresses later on. There are tons of other things that I can put here and I will too, as soon as I get some more time and I will also be sure to elaborate the ones that I've already mentioned.
