Description:
Undoubtedly the most intriguing part of ENG 352 was this assignment which was given to test our ability to break down the simplest and sometimes highly technical information for a process. We were required to pick a process we knew well enough to give a step by step instruction on how to complete the desired task. I choose to make a process description on how to install Protowall;A software used by many that download off the internet with enough computing skills to be able to easily navigate the installation process.
Description:
The most challenging assignment of all was the Proposal. Its beginning involved us writing a complaint letter of a problem on campus. It did not matter what it was and I chose to write on the lecture delivery systems and course management softwares; WebCt and Pipeline. The Proposal itself was a solution to the problem stated in our complaint letter. We were also given the opportunity to make whatever assumption we chose and importantly, we had to make sure both letters went to the right person.

The Brochure packet included a memo, drafts that led to the final brochure and also my oral report of how I created the brochure. This assignment gave us hands on experience on how Technical writers should think when given a task. We had to create a brochure requested by the reference librarians on campus. Its main aim was to make students and professors aware of information literacy and the end result was for them to contact the reference library for more information. My brochure came in two forms, one being an insert and the other a poster. Click on the file name to download JPEG or click the PDF icon for the PDF version.
Description:
This is me, this is who I am and this is who I want to be. My resume is my selling point to all my perspective employers and as revealed to us in class, the smallest mistake or lack of detail even in the resume layout could mean getting or losing the job. It is also important to note that the way you present yourself, physically, and verbally play a great role because most times, you are seen first before your resume. My resume packet includes my current design and my former design which was critiqued in class.
