Catalog Description: CS252 Computer Organization and Architecture
Prerequisite: CS 113. An introduction to the organization and architecture of computer systems, beginning with the standard Von Neumann model and then moving forward to more recent architectural concepts. Among the topics covered are digital logic, data representation, assembly language organization, memory addressing schemes, memory systems, interfacing and functional organization.
