Using Mahara for Portfolios

1. There is a good set of instructions for creating a Mahara portfolio on the Moodle login page (http://moodle.njit.edu/) in the lower left-hand corner. Download the .pdf to your desktop and open it or print it out.
   
   
2. Log in to Moodle. Click on "Home-Mahara" in the lower right of your Moodle homepage. Follow the instructions from there.
   
   
3. To begin your portfolio, create a folder (as per the instructions) and upload some documents.

Note: The single most important step in these instructions is # 23 - you need to click on the name of your view to get the "outward-facing" link. Otherwise Mahara is closed to the public.
