Professional Summary

Before coming to NJIT, I worked as a technical communicator in the computer industry for approximately 7 years. I managed documentation and training for e-commerce projects, wrote online Helps for financial websites, compiled systems documentation for hosted website networks, documented knowledge transfers, etc. During that time I also taught myself HTML and web design. Now that I am teaching at NJIT I teach all of these skills (and more) to my students.

My academic research interests are educational assessment and the history of technical communication.
