Reza Curtmola is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at NJIT.

Previously, he was a post doctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University, where he worked in the DS^2 lab headed by Prof. Cristina Nita-Rotaru and affiliated with CERIAS. Reza Curtmola holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, where his advisor was Prof. Giuseppe Ateniese.

Research Interests

- Applied Cryptography
- Network Security (primarily for wireless networks)
- Privacy in Computing

Some topics I have worked on, reflecting my research interests: Security of storage systems, security of wireless networks, searchable encryption, security of DNS (SK-DNSSEC).
Other areas of interest in cryptography: Broadcast encryption, privacy preserving data-mining.
Other areas I'm (more remotely) interested in: Security of web services, human-computer interfaces.
