| how did Vash lose his left arm? | knives, vash's brother, shoots off his arm when Vash tries to see one of rem's relatives to inform him of what had happened (with Rem). |
| why "the stampede" or "humanoid typhoon"? | it is quite obvious when you think about it. He has entered two towns and has left them destroyed. However, one should know that this destruction is not done by his own will. |
| manga v. anime? | The order in which events occur is a lot different in each media. For example, Vash meets Legato AFTER he meets Nicholas in the anime, while in the manga he meets Legato first. Also, when we first notice Vash's second gun (located in his forearm), it was in episode 12 with Monev the Gale. In the manga, when Vash meets this foe, he has no arm. |
