WELCOME TO STS 258-H02

This is the companion page to STS 258-H02, which meets on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 8:30. The readings and other content of the course are intended to provide you with entry points for discussion and critical examination of technology's many roles in world culture, world politics and the world's natural resources.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
There will be two papers, one team presentation and a final exam.   Attendance is required; more than three unexcused absences suggests withdrawal; more than six results in an F. Come to class having read the assignment noted on the calendar below and prepared at least one discussion question from that reading. 

GRADING
Two papers: 20% each
Group presentation: 20%
Class participation:10%
Final exam: 30%
