Awards and honors: David Paglia, GSA President 2008-2009, was inducted as an alumni member of Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society in Spring 2008
New GSA Clubs: Three new clubs were recently chartered this semester, with the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, Alpha Epsilon Lambda, and the Pakistani Graduate Students Association joining our growing family of student groups in GSA.
GSA 2007-2008 Reimbursements: The GSA is currently in the process of sorting out issues associated with our Alpha password. Our new budget has been passed, and our FRS passwords are working. Reimbursements from last semester will be processed as soon as possible.
GSA Website Updates: The AFS password for the GSA site caused major delays regarding updates of the GSA site. The site is currently under development and should be updated soon.
Graduate Seminars with Academic Departments: The GSA has extended our resources and financing to various academic departments at NJIT such as the Departments of Chemistry/Environmental Science, Physics, Architecture/Urban Systems, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science and Mathematics. We are using our resources to help fund graduate student events and seminars related to students' academic disciplines.
