Dr.
Hsin-Neng Hsieh is a professor in the
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at
New Jersey
Institute of Technology.
Dr. Hsieh has been working in
the environmental engineering area for over 25 years.
Before he joined NJIT, he had worked in
engineering consulting companies as an environmental engineer for six
years.
His work involved in designing water and wastewater treatment plants, water
distribution system, sewer systems, and pumping stations. As a professor, he has taught
wastewater treatment, water and wastewater analysis, stormwater
management, advance processes
in water pollution control, and solid waste courses.
His research interests have been in the areas of treatment of
municipal and industrial wastewater, sludge treatment, and management of
solid wastes.
He has successfully solicited
research grants from
