On
Wednesday, June 13, 2007, the NJ Section Professional Activities Committee and
Graduates of the Last Decade will host a meeting to discuss Professional
Activities for Engineers. Our subject
will be “Education in China and the United States.” Our guest speaker will be a surprise.
About
the Meeting
The
discussion will be about education in China and the United States. We might even make a comparison. Surely we will discuss the recruiting efforts
of American colleges in foreign countries, the promises, results and how it
affects the foreign student. Are the
promises ever kept?
The
meeting will be relatively informal with time for open discussion. All are encouraged to attend and invite your
associates.
About
the Speaker
If
you wish to meet the speaker you will just have to come to the meeting.
Our
guest speaker will be a young women engineer with a BSEE from Beijing, China, a
MSEE and an MSME from one of the local state colleges. She is going to share her experiences with
those of our Section.
All
