	Brief Professional Bio I work (full-time) for a large global bank as the technology leader for their credit card core processing platform – with end-to-end responsibility for the authorization system. I have previously led teams researching technologies and building systems in areas such as information visualization and high performance / distributed computing. I was also the CTO within a venture capital investment group. While in industry, I am proud to have developed and led an award wining academic partnership (with University of Illinois/NCSA), mentored both high school and college students, and created mentoring programs within my technology teams. Finally, in addition to working full-time, I also actively do research with NJIT in areas such as asynchronous learning networks and information visualization.
