Update: I am no longer the CS represenatative. The "big thing" mentioned below is currently being organized.Student Senate - OverviewI am currently the student representative for the computer science major at NJIT. While I am constantly in touch with the needs of CS undergrads at my tutoring position at CAPE, I am always looking for comments, concerns, and suggestions for the CS adminstration. Contact me at kjk34@njit.edu. Feedback SessionA Senate feedback session for the computer science major was held on October 15, 2007. The full report is located here. Big Thing for this semester -Through personal experience, I have often found the preparation for exams exceedingly difficult without the availablitly of practice problems and sample exam questions. I have found preparation easy when the examples existed, along with full solutions. Based on this premise, I am working to create a central exam bank which holds past exams, with their respective solutions. I have spoken to a few administrators who would like to see such an implementation. All I need now is volunteers. If you would like to solve a department exam, let me know by emailing me about the specifics of the exam you want to work on. This project will hopefully be in conjunction with CAPE. |
