- December 11:
Each group must e-mail me (marvin@njit.edu) the following by Monday
12/14/09:
-
the Excel file that you used for your CS 103 project
-
the Word file of the memorandum for your project.
If I don't receive these files by Monday 12/14,
then your group will receive a zero
on the project.
- December 6:
The final exam will be cumulative.
It will cover Chapters 1-5, 7, 8, 10, 12-16.
The format will be like the midterms
(a combination of true/false, multiple choice,
short answer, and problems to work out).
- December 3:
In Excel, you can nest IF statements.
For example, you can use something like
the following:
=IF(condition1,calc1,IF(condition2, calc2, calc3)) .
The way that Excel will interpret this is as follows.
If condition1 is true, then calc1 is done.
If condition1 is not true,
then if condition2 is true, then calc2 is done.
If condition1 is not true,
then if condition2 is not true, then calc3 is done.
- November 20:
Our final exam will be
Mon., 12/14/09, 14:30 - 17:00, in TIER 108.
For more details, see the
registrar's final exam schedule
