Oscillations in networks of noisy spiking neurons

Abstract

Networks of inhibitory neurons exhibit different regimes of synchronized oscillations, depending in particular on the level of noise. I will discuss the `phase diagram' of networks of simple spiking neurons (LIF, EIF, WB) in the coupling strength-noise level plane. Then I will discuss the spatial organization of oscillations in the strong noise region in networks with spatial structure.
