One of the areas in which I have a great interest is the use of innovative technology in education. The video embedded below is an example of an online tutorial that I developed as part of my dissertaion research. This type of video is done with Flash, but I use similar technology to create what is known as a screencast. Screencasts are a rapidly growing medium that is used in online training and the documentation of computer system use. It is very easy to port this type of medium from the web to a video iPod—an idea that has enormous potential for corporate training settings.
