I am studying the Perfectly Matched Layer (PML) model for the Finite-Difference Time Domain (FDTD)
computation of electromagnetic waves in various media; most recently through magnetic plasmas.
The idea is to formulate PML models that will exhibit long lasting time stabilities regardless of their
geometric concerns; i.e. the geometry of the wave fronts.
