The cover letter enhances the résumé by introducing the subject to the reader. It helped to introduce the student to the MIMES and TRIBES. The objective of my current résumé is to obtain a position as a student in Temple University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program. Therefore, the target of the cover letter is the person to whom I am writing, which in this case is Ms. Joan Hankins-Massaquoi, the Assistant Director of Admissions of Temple University School of Pharmacy. The tone of my letter will be professional, and hopefully, the end-result will be an interview offer from Temple University.
