New Jersey Institute of Technology   Chapter of Phi Eta Sigma has been part of the campus community for over 50 years. In recent years the society has been striving to expand and rebuild into an organization that gives back to the NJIT community. With the implementation of new technology, i.e. a new website and email address, as well as an improved tutoring program and ground work for a local scholarship program, PES NJIT is looking into the future with a vast amount of opportunities.

Phi Eta Sigma National Freshmen Honor Society is the oldest and largest freshman national honor society and chooses to recognize superior achievement and leadership potential of freshmen students who meet the high standards of the society. At present, there are over three hundred active chapters throughout the United States and more than 800,000 members. Our goal is to encourage and reward excellence among first year students in institutions of higher learning. Members are eligible to receive cash scholarships of up to $3,000.
