• Working/ worked as the course instructor/grader of undergraduate Python courses at NJIT in Fall 2011, Spring 2011 and Fall 2010.

• Worked as the lab instructor/grader of undergraduate Java courses at NJIT in Summer 2010, Spring 2010, Fall 2009, Summer 2009 and Spring 2009.

• Worked as the lab instructor/grader of an undergraduate C++ course at NJIT in Fall 2008.

• Worked as a Siebel consultant/ developer/ tester at Wipro Technologies, India from July 2005 to August 2008 and worked on several projects for clients like Microsoft Corporation and Lexmark International.

• Languages Known: I can read, write and speak fluently in English, Hindi and Bengali.

INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES

• I love solving puzzles and logical and mathematical problems. The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), India awarded me the National Talent Search (NTS) scholarship in 1998-99. I am also a life member of Mensa India.

• I am an avid quizzer and was one of the finalists at the all India Wipro wide Quiz Competition held during Sparks ’06. I have also won several awards for quizzing in my school and college life.

• I love writing and have won several awards for creative writing in school and college. I also maintain a blog.

• Photography is my passion and I love taking photos, especially of plants and animals, with my digital camera. This has made patience and perseverance part of my nature. I have worked as a student photographer with the University Communications department at NJIT.
