I
began my career as a laboratory chemist, but became interested in science
librarianship. I worked as a librarian/information specialist for Schering
Corporation, the New York Public Library and St. John's
University before I came to the NJIT Library in 1992. I am active in the
American Chemical
Society in the Chemical Information Division and in the
Career Consultants
Program. I have advised many chemists who would like to pursue a career in
chemical information or science librarianship. I am also the Convener of a Science
Librarians Special Interest Group held at the New York Metropolitan
Library Council. Please see my
NJIT Blog.
