About

I, Sepideh Nikookar, got my Ph.D. in computer science from New Jersey Institute of Technology. I had the privilege to work under the supervision of Prof. Senjuti Basu Roy. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Applied Mathematics from K.N.Toosi University of Technology. My research falls under the big umbrella of Data Management for AI. As part of my Ph.D. research, I designed computational frameworks for complex task planning that are generalizable and scalable across large applications by adapting the Reinforcement Learning based computational paradigm. My Research Interests are Data Management for AI, Data Exploration, Reinforcement Learning, Human-in-the-loop AI, Optimization Techniques, and Data Science Applications
