I am currently pursuing my Masters
degree in Computer science at NJIT, Newark and totally enjoying it.
Born in Mysore, India, that is where I did my schooling and Pre University classes. Schooling
was uneventful till the last 3 years, or rather
the lack of my memory has led me to believe that. Pre University
is when yours truly came into his own. Ahhh, the time when friends,
music, traveling, running into trouble and having a good time took center
stage. Believe me, nothing else mattered then.
Then I moved to Bangalore for my Under graduate degree in Computer Science
engineering. Got my first taste of hostel life, and I managed to survive the environment which was exclusively meant
for hell. Though academically I excelled, I was in the midst certain kids who
never kept to themselves (only a bunch of them though, so others need not fume
at it). But I do not regret any part of it, as it only made me
stronger.
As you must have already guessed, I am brutally honest, and
believe in speaking my mind. I have met a lot of different people, people who are
friendly, rude, deceiving... but I have always admired people who have been
honest with me, friends or foe for that matter.
Moving over to the technical domain, LINUX, OS, Distributed
Systems, Cluster and Parallel Computing are few of the fields which I
am passionate about. I am working towards to excel in my chosen field of
interest, and hope to get a PhD someday soon. Some dream you might say, but what have I
got loose? I can only gain from these, as I strongly intend
to.
Message to my friends
Not often have my friends heard me expressing gratitude
towards them, nor am I going to try and make up for the lost grounds. But
this is one opportunity I must take to thank them for putting up with a
beast of a person like me. Never quite sure what to expect of me, nor my
thoughts, you guys have really done the unthinkable. I have been a constant pain at
times, and been a stranger lost for long periods of
time.
Some are from my school days, most from the time at Pre Uni, a few
from my neighborhood, a bunch of them from my Under Grad days, and now
still growing. But hey, I do know that the few good friends I have made, are for
the best part of my life. The people I am talking about; know who they
are. No offense meant to others.
Take a bow my friends. Yes a rare acknowledgment, that to coming
from me.
