Office Hours: Wed. 4-5:30 pm or by appointment
Course Materials: Optics, 3rd Edition, HechtNote: The laboratory manual will be distributed in class or via the world wide web. OPSE web address: www.njit.edu/Directory/Centers/OPSE
OPSE Lab Open Hours: OPSE lab (642-4956) will be open during Monday 11:30-1pm and Weds. 2:30-4pm or by appointment. If the TA is not in the OPSE lab, please see me for key or ask for key in Physics Dept. office.
Assignments: You are responsible for all weekly reading and homework assignments listed in this outline. The reading should be completed BEFORE class each week. Homework assignments must be turned in at the beginning of class each week. For each assignment, you will receive credit for a 'reasonable' attempt at each problem.
Exams: Final Exam (to be announced).
Grades: Final counts as 25% of total course grade. Lab reports count as 60%. Homework counts as 15%.
Grades of below 50% will generally considered to be failing.
