Brief Bio

Yanchao Zhang received his B.E. in Computer Communications from  Nanjing University of Posts & Telecom, Nanjing, China, in 1999, and his M.E. in Computer Applications from State Key Lab of Networking & Switching at Beijing University of Posts & Telecom, Beijing, China, in 2002. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida under Professor Yuguang "Michael" Fang in July 2006, and subsequently joined NJIT as an assistant professor of the ECE department. 

His primary research interests are network and distributed system security, wireless networking, and mobile computing with current emphasis on heterogeneous ad hoc networks.
