Abstract

Located at the Regional Operations and Intelligence Center in West Trenton, the NJCCIC is the first state-level information sharing and analysis organization in the country. Recognizing the importance of cybersecurity, the NJCCIC was formed by Executive Order in May of 2015 by Governor Christie to be NJs one-stop shop for cybersecurity threat intelligence, alerts, best practices, and incident reporting. The NJCCIC employs and partners with the top cybersecurity experts in the state and beyond to form a unique public/private partnership that includes governmental, private industry, and academic organizations, as well as the citizenry of NJ. During this presentation, Director Michael Geraghty will provide attendees with a brief history of significant cybersecurity events, incidents and investigations in NJ history, the current threat landscape, and how the NJCCIC is working to improve the digital resilience of all NJ public and private entities.
