Alexander Tuzhilin is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Stern School of Business, New York University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, NYU. His current research interests include knowledge discovery in databases and personalization technologies/CRM. He published over 50 papers in various Computer Science and Information Systems journals, conference proceedings and other outlets, and served on program committees of numerous conferences and workshops. He currently serves on the Editorial Boards of the Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery Journal, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, the INFORMS Journal on Computing and the Electronic Commerce Research Journal. He also serves as a co-chair of the Third IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM 2003).
