Dr. Kuperman is the Director for Quality Informatics at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. His role there is to help the hospital use information technology to improve the quality of care. He chairs the Alerts Committee, Vocabulary Committee and Academic Quality Advisory Committee, and he helped establish the Hospital's Information Systems Clinical Advisory Group. He also is the Board Chair and Executive Director of NYCLIX, a RHIO serving Manhattan and other parts of New York City. Dr. Kuperman is on the faculty of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University Medical School and Public Health at Cornell University Medical School. He has been an author on 60 articles related to medical informatics and lead author on 15 of those.
