Cesar Bandera

Cell Podium


Cesar Bandera is co-founder of Cell Podium, an m-learning company located in the Enterprise Development Center of the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has deployed enterprise and public mobile multimedia campaigns for US Federal agencies, universities, and private organizations. His background is in multimedia processing and computer vision, and his work has yielded a 2007 NJ Entrepreneur award, Small Business of the Year nomination from the US Air Force, various patents and publications, and five Ph.D. graduates. Bandera received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Buffalo, and he teaches at the NJIT College of Computing Science and School of Management. Previously, Bandera formed and directed the Machine Vision Department of Amherst Systems (acquired by Northrop Grumman), and subsequently joined AT&T Labs.
