Gail Rosen is an assistant professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at Drexel University. Dr. Rosen received her B.S. ('99), M.S. ('02), and PhD ('06) degrees in ECE at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2009, she received the NSF CAREER award and a 2012 Louis and Bessie Stein Fellowship for collaboration with the Technion. Also, she and her group have received best student paper awards at the 2004 IEEE Sensors Conference, 2006 IEEE Intl. Conf. on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP) Conference, 2006 SAIC competition, and the 2011 IEEE Digital Sig. Proc./Sig. Proc. Ed. (DSP-SPE) Workshop. Her current research interests are in computational biology and ecology, modeling biological interactions, and bioinformatics and DSP educational technologies.
