Dr Qiang Tang

Qiang Tang is currently a postdoctoral associate at computer science department, Cornell University, hosted by Prof. Elaine Shi, and he is also associated with the Initiative of Cryptocurrency and Contract (IC3) at Cornell. His research interests are applied and theoretical crypto, privacy and computer security, in particular in the intersection of accountability, post-Snowden cryptography and crypto-currency. Qiang obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut on August, 2015, under the supervision of Prof. Aggelos Kiayias and Prof. Alexander Russell, and M.S from the graduate school of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was also a research intern at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, NTT research, Tokyo, and a visiting researcher at University of Athens, Greece.
