Bio

Jerry Creighton, Sr. is responsible for "“Entrepreneur Development”" at the NJIT- Enterprise Development Center (EDC), a new business incubator. He is also involved in volunteer activity as an advisor for the NJIT CCS Capstone Program and as an evaluator for the NJTC Mentoring Program. He has an extensive and varied background in management and consulting spanning multiple facets of strategy development, operational management and venture formation. His background includes business development, business planning, mergers & acquisitions, joint venture integration, financial services, marketing, operations and sales support. Mr. Creighton’s career includes key management assignments and transaction experience with major international companies such as AT&T, Lucent Technologies and T-Systems / Deutsche Telekom as well as consulting engagements for start-up / early stage companies and for a merchant bank involved in leveraged buyouts and roll-ups. As a business owner and while employed in the corporate and incubator environments, Mr. Creighton taught courses and delivered advisory services in various fields of business planning and development, project deployment, finance and operations. He has Board of Director and Advisory Team experience. He uses an entrepreneurial approach to identify, evaluate and creatively position venture opportunities, assist companies to grow, prepare for commercialization challenges and achieve long-term success. Mr. Creighton earned his Bachelors Degree and his MBA from Widener University
