Elena Zaslavsky is currently in a research position at Princeton University directing interdisciplinary educational and research activities for the Program in Integrative Information, Computer and Application Sciences (PICASso). Elena received her Ph.D. (2006) and M.A. (2002) in Computer Science from Princeton University under the guidance of Prof. Mona Singh, and her B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Queens College of CUNY in 1998. Elena's research interests include algorithms development for computational molecular biology, particularly in the areas of motif finding and transcription regulatory networks.
