Welcome to Aldo's site about gaming on a personal computer!
Why I play on PC
This is an HTML site centered around the idea of builing and playing
on a Personal Computer as compared to modern day consoles.
I enjoy playing many games but if I have the option, I will play the game
on PC as compared to either Xbox One or Play Station 4. Here are some of the
reasons as to why I prefer playing a game on PC.
-
You get high frames per second
-
You can play with Key Board and Mouse peripherals
-
You can play games with better graphics, if your computer parts allow it
Clicking on this link will take you to Steam, which is the most popular community for
making friends, buying games, and organizing you game library.
Building a PC
It can be understandable that PC gaming is a little bit more involved than
using a console. First off you must assemble the computer. I for one personally like
to assemble it on my own but it is also an option to have you computer pre-built by
a third party.
The crucial parts need to have your computer turn on and function are as follows
- Case
- This will contain all of the parts following
- Mother Board
- This will attach to your case and have all the following parts
attached to it
- Graphics Card
- This will connect to your monitor and determins the quality
of your image. This will determine your graphics settings
for the most part
- Central Processing Unit
- This is considered to be the "brain" or you computer
- Random Access Memory
- This will handle the data being moved back and forth while the computer is on.
- Power Supply
- This part will help with taking the raw power from your house outlet and supplying
it to your motherboard/graphics card, which powers everything
- Additionally you will also need various forms to cool your whole case
- This would include
- Heat sink for CPU
- Fans directing cool air in, and hot air out
- Water cooling if you have the spending money
If you click the alien, you be directed to a forum where you can get additional help
