Final and Grades Grades will be posted anytime between later today and no later than tomorrow Tuesday. The exam statistics are as follows: average grade was 242, median 256, minimum 112, maximum 376 out of 400. The average class performance was 654 out of 1000 points (HW0 was excluded and so were two homeworks out of HW1-HW6 with the least grades).
Where is CLH3?If you enter Cullimore Hall from the big entrance behind the new building that is being built beside the cafeteria, on the front of the entrance there are two lecture halls; on the left side it is CLH2 and the right side CLH3 located symmetrically to each other; CLH3 is on the right of the vending machines that are inbetween.
Last Day of Classes Solutions for HW6 Problem 1 will be handed out. A brief review will take place. In my web-page (click link above) you can view up-to-date information about my Office-hours this week. I'll be in my office most of the time 10:00am-6pm except for the time/day noted there.
University to Close today Thursday Dec 5 It has just been announced (Dec5 , 12:32) that the University will close after 2pm, so all classes beginning after 1:40pm including evening classes are cancelled. OUR CIS 435 is thus cancelled today. See you on Tuesday.

Final Exam Friday December 13, 11:30am-2:00pm. Room Number is CLH3 which translates into Cullimore Lecture Hall 3.
COURSE EVALUATION/SCHEDULE Besides this week's class (Nov 26) there are only three classes left. On Thursday Dec 5, there will be a course evaluation. Please bring No 2 pencils. I'll make a few available in class, however. The last lecture will be a question/answer review section.
Subject 12, Page 28, Typo In the outline of Prim's algorithm on page 28 of the notes, line 1, Q=V: should read Q=V-X instead.
SortAlgo: A sorting Algorithm Visualization Tool Harendra Bhagat last semester implemented a sorting algorithm visualization tool in java. If you want to see we how a sorting algorithm works visually click here and choose, your algorithm, input size and input data. You MUST use NETSCAPE, however, to make it work.
