(11/07) Final Exam, exam departure policy,
and last office hours.
You are allowed to leave the exam room between 60min and
105min after the start of the exam, but NOT earlier.
You are also not allowed to leave the room in the last fifteen
minutes and also as soon as the number of
students present in the exam room reaches three (3) and will
stay at three until the end of the exam.
In all other cases, between 60min and 105min after the start of
the exam, just raise your hand silently to draw my attention.
Departure will take place one by one after you come to me surrender
your signed exam (cover page) and REsign the signup list : have
a pen or pencil ready.
If you leave before the 60th minute or after the 105th
minute you will be reported to the Dean of Students,
and your final exam will be assessed to a grade of 0.
At most three signatures will be collected during the exam:
(a) on the (cover page of the) exam paper,
(b) during the exam (receipt signature) in the exam roster
handed out 15 minutes from the start, and
(c) in the case of early departure (turnin signature), in the exam
roster again when you turn in the paper exam.
Note that the last office hours are
for December 11, 2024.
(There are no office hours during
the reading days or the exam period.)

in the exam.

No material in the exam from NEW topics covered on the last
day of classes (eg Subject 12 and most of Subject 11).

not covered in the textbook at all or only covered in the
textbook in less detail (eg fork()).
Read the textbook first, then in a second review,
check the subjects for material that was missed or absent
from the book.
Some sample exams are
provided: use them at your discretion.
Some of those (past exam)
problems have become self-assessment or homework problems or
exam problems in Exam 1 and Exam 2.
