Let G be the sum of Ex1 , Ex2 , HW1, HW2, and HW3
Range for G is [0,470]

375 < G <= 470         A range
285 < G <= 375  B+ and B range
220 < G <= 285  C+ and C range
      G <= 220  D  and F range

The class average is 294 out of 470. 
In standard curving the average is at the C+ range.
But my grouping of students is always a bit more generous that curving.
