Quiz Instructions

This is Exam 2. It is 75mn and worth 235pt.  It contains 8 questions, one of which is a 0-point scratch space area also appearing as question, and 7 Operating System problems. Aim at completing 4pt per minute. The 0-point scratch space area can be used for calculations or just for communicating something that can not be done otherwise.

You may also use a scientific calculator that you bring with you. No computer-based calculators; a use of the computer as a calculator is considered exam rule violation.

[Computer use in class]

You are only allowed to use your browser in one window that opens the canvas quiz and nothing else. If any other window or application is detected to be open in your browser you get 0 in the exam and directed to the Dean of Students.

[Mobile phones and other devices; FOOD and DRINKS]

Mobile phones, mobile or not devices, including wearables  connected to phones or to networks  (e.g. iwatch) SHOULD NOT  BE ON YOU or on the exam table.  They must be powered down  (equivalent to removing the battery) and put securely in  a backpack or bag. The backpack/bag should be closed/zippered. Refer to the Syllabus clause on devices. This includes hearing aids or hearing attachments.  (You should have requested  permission for their use through the Dean of Students.)  FOOD/DRINKS are not allowed per NJIT regulations.
