Becaus it can be  complicated to use the homeworks 
(best 5 of 9 rule) and lack of information about your
plans on doing PA1-PA3 or HW6,  you can use
Rule 1 or Rule 2 to figure out how you are doing so far.

 -  Let HW1, HW2, HW3, EX1 be the 4 grades available on Oct 28.

 - Let Total = HW1+HW2+HW3+EX1

 Rule 1 (all hw1,hw2,hw3,ex1; maximum is 520)

  if Total > 255  then if the class was to end today you would have gotten at least a C
  if Total < 256  then you may get a D or F.
