  G = Exam1+ Exam 2

 If the semester was to end tonight the following
approximate letter grades would be assigned to the
following G ranges. Note that some boundaries overlap.

  325 <= G <= 455   A
  250 <= G <= 325   B+ or B
  200 <= G <= 250   C+ or C
  160 <= G <= 200   D
  0   <= G <= 160   F
