A. Announcements

Exam 3 (FINAL) has been posted in the protected area. Final letter grades will become available through the NJIT SIS/MY-NJIT system sometime later today. (DECEMBER 18, 2008.)
Preliminary Exam 3 (Final) Statistics. They are available in the protected area.
FINAL EXAM DATE/TIME/PLACE. The CS 610 final exam (that is, EXAM 3) is scheduled for Wed Dec 17 at the classroom used for lectures. It will commence by 6:05pm. The duration is 2 hours and is worth 333 points. Details about the logistics of the exam are in Handout 1. Summarizing, it is open textbook; if you don't bring your own, then you will not be allowed to borrow a fellow student's textbook. If the exam date changes for any unforeseen reason(eg. snow emergency) this announcement will show this new information, if possible; NJIT might preempt this announcement, however.
If you want to inspect your exam paper, or learn the final exam numeric grade, office hours will be observed on Thu Dec 18 2:00-3:00pm. Letter course grades will only be made available through the MyNJIT/SIS system during that week but might not be available on Thu during the office hours.
MAKE SURE THAT YOU SWITCH OFF ALL MOBILE DEVICES (CELL/MOBILE PHONES,COMPUTERS, DIGITAL PORTABLE DEVICES) before entering the EXAM ROOM. The material that will be covered includes (more details at the beginning of every online available subject) Subject 1 all the way through and including Subject 13. This material is primarily covered in Chapters 1-7, 13, 14 of the textbook (GT). More detailed (and accurate) information is available on the front of each Subject that summarizes the material covered in class.
